  1. Pantoprazole (4.5 mg OE)
  2. Lansoprazole (13.5 mg OE)
  3. Omeprazole (20 mg OE)
  4. Esomeprazole (32 mg OE)
  5. Rabeprazole (36 mg OE)

Side effects of PPI

Take Pantoprazole with you when you go to KFC.

Mnemonic: KFC
  1. Kidney (Acute interstitial nephritis)
  2. Fractures (Hypochlorhydria leading to decreased serum calcium)
  3. C. difficile infection

Besides, it may also cause nausea, diarrhea and abdominal discomfort as the release of acid into gastric lumen and hence, breakdown of food is interferred.
