Mnemonic: Covid-MATCH65

1. Covid-19 patient exposure or international travel: 2.5 points
2. Myalgia/Malaise: 1 point
3. Anosmia or Aguesia: 2.5 points
4. Temperature (any reported fever): 0.5 point
5. Coryza/sore throat: -1 point
6. Hypoxia – oxygen saturation <97%: 1 point
7. 65 years or older: 1 point

Scoring assessment:

• <1 = Low risk (0.5%)
• 1-1.5 = Moderate risk (1.5%)
• 2-3.5 = High risk (6%)
• 4-4.5 = Very high risk (20%)
• >5 = Extreme risk (50%)

A cut-off of ≥ 1.5 points was associated with a 92.6% sensitivity and 99.5% negative predictive value (NPV) for COVID-19.
